PSC 201: American Government 3-4 credit hours, CTC credit As an American citizen, it is imperative that you are aware of how your government operates. As such, this course focuses on the history, constitutional basis, institutions, structure, and processes of the American political system. Additionally, the importance and interconnectedness between the media, interest groups, political parties, and public opinion will be discussed, while public policies (past and current) will be critically analyzed.
